In this exercise video Meredith is guiding you through an all seated “Strength & Cardio” routine using light weight dumbbells for added resistance.

This workout is designed to combine the best movements of strength training and cardiovascular work in a safe and supported seated position. The seated position supports your lower body and core areas which make it easier to focus on the movements that help you build strength. This is a HIIT style workout (High Intensity Interval Training) which is made up of periods of “rest” and “work” in a timed fashion. This help energize your body and bumps up your heart rate to give you a great cardio workout.

Remember to only do movements that you are comfortable with and that don’t cause any pain or discomfort. Take breaks when you need to and always keep your water close by.
