In this exercise video Meredith is guiding you through an easy to follow standing balance workout perfect for beginners or anyone looking to get some extra solid balance work in.

Maintaining our balance is so important not just in fitness but in everyday activities. Walking, jogging, moving through crowds or navigating stairs. Balance is an important part of our mobility and we believe that as we exercise to improve parts of our body, we should also focus on maintaining our balance as well.

The simple exercises in this video can be done right at home using a sturdy chair or table to use as reinforcement. Since these are all standing exercises, be sure to be mindful of the area around you and make sure you have a clear open area to do this routine.

Remember to keep water close by and never force any movements that cause you pain or discomfort. If you begin to experience vertigo or other sensations then take a break and slowly come back to your routine when you feel ready.
