In this exercise video Meredith takes you through an intermediate level standing abs and core workout, perfect for getting a quick workout in or adding in at the beginning or end of one of our many other workouts.
This intermediate level workout is completely standing but Meredith also recommends that you keep either a chair or stand somewhere close to something that you can hold on to. Having extra stability always helps when doing standing “balance” type routines.
This is a shorter exercise routine and is meant to work just your core and ab area. There is always an important connection between the mind and body when exercising and especially when doing ab routines. They can easily be done improperly and you may miss out on the benefits of these movements.
As mentioned earlier, use this workout as a stand alone or “piggy back” this routine on to another one of your favorite workouts to get a full ab workout in as well.
As always, only do movements that work best for you and never force any moves that cause discomfort or pain. Keep water close by and have a great workout!
