In this exercise video Meredith is guiding you through a seated upper body and core strengthening routine using dumbbells for added resistance.

Upper body and core strength is important especially when choosing an active lifestyle. Strengthening this area of the body helps with everyday routines like carrying groceries, getting in and out of the car and even taking a shower.

This is an all seated routine which helps stabilize the lower body so you can concentrate more on your form and range of motion. This is an intermediate level routine so be sure to preview the full workout before beginning if you are unsure of your fitness level. Remember to take breaks when you need to and keep your water close by.
