In this exercise video Meredith is guiding you through a seated abs routine using a dumbbell.

This workout is a perfect beginner routine for anyone looking to strengthen and tone your core and abs. The seated posture makes it available to almost anyone and incorporating a light weight, in this case a dumbbell is a great way to add extra resistance. However you don’t have to use a dumbbell to complete this workout, you can substitute with just about any manageable weight, water bottle, can of soup or anything that works for you.

You can also just use range of motion using no weights as Meredith does in her second set.

Remember to keep water close by and only do movements that feel best for you.
