Regular stretching is a great way to loosen tense areas of the body and help relieve common everyday pain associated with tightness and stress. Stretches can be done before or after a workout to help further allow your body to either prepare for exercise or relax them afterwards.
This exercise video is a beginner level, seated routine which emphasizes safety for those who may have limited range of motion or issues with standing. These stretches can also be done in the comfort of your home whenever you are ready for a good stretch:)
Remember to only do movements that you are comfortable with and that don’t cause any pain or discomfort. Keep your water close by and take breaks when you need to.
