Build strength in your lower body with this intermediate level, lower body and core workout using optional weights for resistance.

This seated exercise focuses on your lower body muscles which includes your calves, thighs, hamstrings and lower abdomen. Strengthening this area is crucial for everyday tasks like walking, getting in and out of a chair, carrying groceries, going up and down stairs and so much more. This workout features the use of optional ankle weights but you can also get an effective workout in just using your own bodyweight and range of motion.

This is an intermediate level exercise so be sure to preview it in full before performing if you are un-sure of your fitness level. Remember to only movements that you are comfortable with and that don’t cause you pain or discomfort. Always take breaks when you need to and keep your water close by.
