In this exercise video, Meredith is guiding you through an easy to follow seated grip strengthening routine using a simple air ball for resistance.

Your grip strength is an important part of your overall health and can contribute to a longer, more mobile lifestyle. Having a strong grip helps with things like holding hand rails when going up or down stairs, carrying groceries, driving or also catching yourself if you are falling.

This routine utilizes a simple air ball for resistance but you can also substitute using a hand towel or just follow along using your range of motion without equipment. This is also a beginner level exercise which is suitable for all levels of fitness.

Remember to only do movements that you are comfortable with and that don’t cause any pain or discomfort. Keep your water close by and take breaks when you need to.
