In this exercise routine, Meredith is guiding you through an “Extra” Advanced Workout HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training) style using your body weight only for added resistance.

“HIIT” style exercises are great for getting an effective workout in during a short period of time. They utilize periods of “work” in between periods of “rest”. This start and stop sequencing is good for your heart health and cardiovascular system overall. We also are using our own body weight for added resistance during some of the movements.

This is an Advanced routine so be sure to preview this entire workout before attempting. You can also follow along with the modifications that are shown on screen as well.

Remember to only do movements that you are comfortable with and that don’t cause any pain or discomfort. Keep your water close by and take breaks when you need to.
