HIIT exercises are a great way to get in an effective workout in a shorter period of time. Using optional light weights can also help add intensity to your routine but they are not required. You can still benefit from the range of motion and movement.
This is a timed workout with intervals of work and rest periods that are designed to get your heart rate up and challenge your muscles every step of the way. This is a full body routine so you will be working upper, lower and core muscles.
As always, only do movements that you are comfortable with and never force anything that causes you pain or discomfort. Keep your water close by, take breaks when you need to and have a great workout!
