In this “Basics Series” exercise video Meredith is guiding you through a full body routine using simple light dumbbells for resistance.

Our “basics” series focuses on fundamental movements that are perfect for beginners or all levels of fitness. This routine features both upper and lower body movements that are designed to strengthen and tone these focused areas. The moves in this workout are easy to follow, never rushed and can always be modified to seated. You may also substitute light water bottles for weights or just follow along using your range of motion.

Remember to only do movements that you are comfortable with and never force anything that causes you pain or discomfort. Keep you water close by, take breaks when you need to and have a great workout!
