Seated Workout With Weights For Seniors And Beginners | 20 Min


In this exercise video Meredith is guiding you through a seated strength training workout using dumbbells targeted toward beginners or anyone who may have certain limitations with standing exercises.

Seated workouts are a great way to get exercise if standing workouts are not available to you. It is still very possible to get a good workout in via sitting using a sturdy chair. For this workout, Meredith is building strength using 5lb dumbbells but these can also be substituted based on your level of strength.

You may also substitute dumbbells with water bottles or cans of soup if you don’t have dumbbells available.

This is a full body workout incorporating upper and lower body movements. It is always important to make sure you only do the range of motion that is comfortable for you and never force anything that causes you pain or discomfort.

Remember to keep you water close by and have a great workout!
