Dealing with issues from Scoliosis which is a “sideways curve of the spine” can be challenging especially as we get older. In this exercise video, Meredith is guiding you through exercises to help stretch and strengthen areas of the body that are affected by scoliosis.
This is a Beginner/Intermediate level exercise and can be done either in bed or on the floor, preferably on a soft yoga/exercise mat. The movements in this workout are designed to help stretch out muscles that may be strained due to the curvature of the spine and also to help strengthen muscles which help support your back and spine. Together, these movements if done regularly will help support your mobility and stability.
Be sure to only do movements that you are comfortable with and that don’t cause any pain or discomfort. Take breaks when you need to and keep your water close by.
