Quick Seated HIIT Workout For Seniors And Beginners | 10 Min


In this exercise video Meredith is guiding you through an all seated HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training) workout perfect for beginners or anyone just starting out with HIIT routines.

HIIT workouts are a great way to get your heart rate up in a short period of time giving you a boost of energy and a great burn. They consist of higher intensity “work” periods followed by short periods of rest. This “back and forth” challenges your cardiovascular system and strengthens in the process.

This is an all seated routine but don’t let that fool you! Seated workouts can be just as intense as standing routines and will keep you just as energized.

As always, only do movements that you are comfortable with and never force anything that causes you pain or discomfort. Keep your water close by and take breaks when you need to.
