In this exercise video Meredith is guiding you through a beginner level resistance bands workout focused on the lower body muscles and core.

Resistance bands are a great way to add strength training to your exercise routines. They are easy to use, safe and effective for most types of movements. This is a seated routine which works best for those who may have limitations or who prefer exercising in the seated position. This also incorporates a “looped” band for some of the movements which you can make by tying your band into a loop. See our best recommendations for bands here.

Remember to only do movements that you are comfortable with and that don’t cause any pain or discomfort. Keep your water close by and take breaks when you need to.
