Hello and thank you for joining us on today’s podcast!

In this episode we’re diving into the topic of adding weight to your cardio routines and is this a good idea?

Cardio exercises are a great way to get your heart rate up and burn calories. However if you feel like you ever want to “up the intensity” is it a good idea to add weight to your cardio exercises? Everyone is build differently and we are all at different levels of fitness. 2). Why making sure safety and form should be the most important factors to consider when adding weight so as to avoid any unnecessary injury.

3). The differences between using weights for upper body movement during cardio and lower body weights (ankle weights etc) and Meredith’s best recommendation on which is the safest to consider.

4). Meredith’s recommendations and tips on how to incorporate weight into your cardio workouts in the safest manner.
