Hello and thank you for joining us for this week’s podcast!

In this episode we are discussing a common question we receive online which is “How much should I be exercising to lose weight?”

This is an important question and also covers a lot of ground which makes it to difficult to have just one answer. We are all built differently and have different lives that affect the way our bodies react. There are too many variables to count in order to get to the correct answer that works for everyone but we do have helpful guidelines, tips and some suggestions that may help you get going in the right direction if weight loss is your primary goal.

In This Episode You Will Learn:

1). Why we felt it was important to address this question of how much exercise one should do to lose weight and how this can affect anyone.

2). Why it is often too difficult to define the specific exercise schedule you should be doing to ensure weight loss because there are many more lifestyle factors that come into play that can affect this outcome.

3). Questions to ask yourself when determining your exercise schedule like what type of workouts are your doing and what is the frequency and intensity levels? These are not the end all be all determining factors but they do play an important role in weight loss.

4). Why your diet plays a big role in determining your weight loss patterns and how you manage your caloric intake compared to how active you are.

5). Meredith’s advice on finding “balance” between your food intake and physical activity and why restricting either is not the best way to lose weight. Listening to your body and taking the time to find out what “groove” works best for you is most important.

Thank you again for joining us today on the podcast. We hope our suggestions in this episode will help you determine what is the best path for you when it comes to balancing the right exercise schedule and losing the goal weight you are aiming for. As mentioned, no one is the same and what may work for one person, might not work for someone else.

The most important thing to remember is to not give up, stay consistent and focused and you’ll be well on your way to achieving any goal you set for yourself:)
