In this pilates inspired workout Meredith is guiding you through a standing abs & core routine designed to strengthen, stabilize and tone your core muscles.
Pilates exercises are great for slower, more focused exercises that create tension in your muscles. This tension initializes your muscle fibers which then contributes to the process of breaking down and then building up your strength. You don’t need weights with this exercise as your body is all the weight you will use.
This is an intermediate level workout so remember to only do movements that you are comfortable with and that don’t cause any pain or discomfort. Keep your water close by and take breaks when you need to.
