In this exercise video Meredith will be guiding you through an energizing HIIT style (High Intensity Interval Training) workout using dumbbells for additional resistance (optional). This workout is also a “No Squats, No Floor Work & No Hopping” routine which means you won’t need to do any of those types of movements throughout this exercise.
This is an advanced level workout so we recommend you preview the full routine before starting. However, because this is a no hops, squats and floor work routine, the moves are somewhat catered to an intermediate level or lower as well.
HIIT style workouts are very effective when it comes to getting your heart up and building strength as well. This routine does use dumbbells for added resistance but they are optional or you can substitute them with cans of soup or water bottles.
Make sure to only do movements that you feel comfortable with and never force anything that causes you pain or discomfort. Keep you water close by, take breaks when you need to and have a great workout!
