New Year Exercise Plan

A new year is upon us, which means an opportunity to appreciate all of our accomplishments from the year prior while making new goals for this year! 

When coming up with your exercise plan, look at what you feel  you need to work on, build upon, and better for yourself. 

Strength training, cardiovascular endurance, balance, and flexibility are the four building blocks of fitness, and will keep your workouts interesting and improve your overall health. Try to mix in different types of physical activity for a well-rounded exercise plan.

Also, having a monthly exercise calendar is a great way to keep track of your workouts which can help you stay motivated to reach your goals!

It can also help when you get “off track” and need motivation. 

Looking back on what you were doing for earlier workouts can help you get back to those workouts, or you can see where improvements or changes can be made to help your progress.
