Lower body strength is key to maintaining stability and balance as you move throughout your day. In this exercise video, Meredith is guiding you through a lower body strength building routine using optional ankle weights for resistance.
This is an intermediate level workout designed with movements on the floor focusing on lower extremity muscles and core stability. As mentioned, the ankle weights are optional so if you don’t have weights you can still follow along using just your range of motion.
Be sure to only do movements that you are comfortable with and that don’t cause any pain or discomfort. Keep you water close by and take breaks when you need to.
