Lower Body And Glutes Workout For Seniors Using Ankle Weights | Intermediate Level | 10 Min


In this workout video Meredith is guiding you through a quick 10 minute lower body and glutes exercise using ankle weights (optional) for added resistance.

Lower body workouts are a great way to keep your legs, calves, lower back and glutes in shape. Taking time out of your workout schedule to just focus on your lower body is a good way to build strength and stability in the muscles that we use everyday.

Ankle weights are also a great way to add some resistance because they challenge your muscles in ways that we don’t usually get to use in everyday activities. By creating resistance, our muscles are forced to put in that extra work that will give great results if used regularly.

As always, only do movements that you are comfortable with and never force anything that causes you pain or discomfort. Keep your water close by when you need it and have a great workout!
