High Intensity Chair Workout For Seniors | 30 Min HIIT | Intermediate Level


In this exercise video Meredith is taking you through a great 30 min High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) chair workout.

HIIT exercises are great for your heart health because they take advantage of raising and lowering your heart rate during a workout using timed intervals. This never gives your heart a chance to stay at one rhythm which is actually very healthy for the most important muscle in our bodies!

This workout is all seated which is great for a more “low impact” style routine which takes the pressure off of your knees and joints. But that doesn’t mean it’s easy! This is actually an intermediate level workout so you will be doing more challenging movements that not only challenge the body, but the mind as well.

Remember to keep you water close by and only do movements that you feel comfortable with. Never force anything that gives you pain and discomfort and you can always substitute a movement when you need to .
