Helpful Stretches For Knee Arthritis & Osteoarthritis | Learning Level

H

In this learning level workout you will learn how to do exercises for strengthening and stretching for knee pain and knee arthritis. The quadriceps, hamstrings, hip flexors, and calf muscles all need to be taken care of.

Arthritis is a wearing away of cartilage of a joint, which is the cushioning material between bones. Arthritis causes inflammation and irritation of the synovial lining, which produces synovial fluid which helps protect and lubricate the joints.

In the knees, pain and stiffness can occur with arthritis. It limits mobility, and ability to get up and down safely.

These are some strengthening exercises and stretches that can be done to alleviate this pain, and help lubricate the joints and strengthen the entire knee area.

Stay safe, happy and healthy!
