Travel can cause a lot of stress on your body especially during long flights. Being confined for long hours at a time can cause many problems if we aren’t proactive in taking care of ourselves. Making sure we do what we can to stretch, move and stay flexible during a flight can make a big difference during your trip.
For this stretching video, Meredith walks you through some of her easy to follow movements that are designed to stretch your whole body while in a confined area. Upper and lower body movements are incorporated here all with the intention of helping your body stay relaxed and loose during long travel times in the air.
Remember to only do movements that you are comfortable with and never force anything that causes you pain or discomfort. Keep water close by and take breaks when you need to and don’t forget to have a great stretch!
