In this exercise video Meredith is guiding you through an easy to follow bed stretching routine perfect to try when waking up in the morning.

Regular stretching is a great way to keep your body relaxed and healthy. Stretching when you first wake up also contributes to better health as it helps ease your muscles into action. Making sure your body is ready to take on the challenges of the day also helps prevent injury as well. This exercise is also great for stretching before bed as a way to relax your muscles and mind.

Be sure to only do movements that you are comfortable with and that don’t cause any pain or discomfort. This video is shown on the floor using a mat but you should be able to do these same stretches comfortably in bed. Make sure to keep your water close by and have a great stretch!
