Beginner Cardio Interval Workout For Seniors | 15 Min


In this exercise video Meredith will be taking you through an easy to follow standing cardio routine using a timer.

This is a perfect routine if you’re just starting out with interval training and are looking to get a great workout in using very easy to follow moves. This routine is all standing but can be modified to seated if that works better for you.

There are no weights during this routine and all movements can be easily modified to your level of fitness. Interval type training (seconds “on” and seconds “rest”) is great for building up your cardiovascular system. The interval timing of work and rest keeps you heart rate on it’s toes:) as you reap the benefits of this heart healthy routine.

Don’t forget to keep a chair close by if you need it and always drink lots of water. Only do movements that you feel comfortable with and never force moves that give you discomfort.
