In this “Everyday Routine” exercise video, Meredith is guiding you through a full body standing balance routine with a short seated core workout to finish. This routine is part of our “Everyday Routine” series videos which are safe for you to do on a daily basis without risking fatigue.
Balance exercises are important to help maintain stability during everyday movements like getting in and out of a car, carrying groceries or walking up and down stairs. Good balance promotes longevity, independence and mobility. This exercise also includes a seated core workout at the end to help build up those important abs and core muscles which help with your stability and posture.
Remember to only do movements that you are comfortable with and that don’t cause any pain or discomfort. Keep your water close by and take breaks when you need to.
