In this exercise video Meredith is guiding you through a beginner level, pelvic muscle strengthening routine designed to do on the floor or on your bed.

Your pelvic muscles are crucial to things like your posture, balance and gait when you walk. They are used to stabilize your body and they contribute to movements that you do everyday like carrying groceries or getting in and out of a vehicle.

For this workout, we are using an airball for added resistance but you can substitute using a small pillow or just follow along using your range of motion. Remember to only do movements that you are comfortable with and that don’t cause any pain or discomfort. Keep your water close by and take breaks when you need to.
