In this exercise video Meredith will be guiding you through an easy to follow HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training) cardio exercise routine using weights (optional) and incorporating ab movements to help strengthen your core.
HIIT workouts are a great way to build both your cardiovascular system up and also build strength. Used with a timer, these workouts allow you to push your cardiovascular system in incremental phases of both work and rest. Adding weight to these movements can also add an extra challenge as well.
This is an intermediate level that involve standing movements which can also be modified to seated. Remember to go at your own pace and only do movements that you are comfortable with. Never force anything that causes pain or discomfort and remember to keep your water close by.
