In this exercise video Meredith is going through a refreshing 20 min seated HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training) workout incorporating light dumbbells and a timer.

HIIT workouts are all the rage and are a great way to get your heart rate up and work your cardiovascular system. Whether sitting or standing, HIIT exercises have tremendous health benefits.

This routine is an intermediate level workout so it will help to have some experience with HIIT exercises before giving this a try. This is also a great goal workout if you’re looking for something a little more challenging as well. The movements in this exercise are timed using a stop watch which keeps things moving.

At only 20 minutes, this workout will leave you feeling accomplished and refreshed. As always only do movements that you feel comfortable with and never force anything that causes you pain or discomfort. Keep water close by and take breaks when you need to.
