20 Min HIIT Workout At Home For Seniors With Weights | Advanced Level


In this workout Meredith is taking you through a great full body advanced HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training) style workout meant to both build strength and build up your cardiovascular system.

HIIT workouts are a great way to get a good workout in a shorter period of time. They incorporate short periods of more intense exercise followed by short periods of rest. HIIT workouts may take a little time getting used to and depending on your level of fitness, it may be easier to work up to them.

If you do feel comfortable trying this advanced workout then all you’ll need is a pair of weights which you can substitute using either cans of soup or water bottles as well as an area for you to lay down on. Either using a mat for the floor or you can also do the laying down portion on your bed or a couch. Whatever you feel comfortable with.

As always keep your water close and take breaks when you need to. Never do any movements that may cause you pain or discomfort. Keeping tabs on your level of fitness will guide you through your progress so always listen to what your body is telling you.
